Fourth Blog

This week I printed a picture of a barn that I have in my back yard. I took this photo looking up towards the top of the barn which created an interesting perspective. I like the way the long pieces of lumber look especially with the shadows that are hitting the barn. I feel that the gray tones, shadows, and perspective of the photo make you curious as to what is inside the doors of the barn. The sun was setting when I took this photo so it created interesting shadows of the trees against the barn. When I look at this photo the first thing my eye notices is the bottom portion of the photo where the shadow is dead center and then there is light on either side of it. I was also very happy with this photo because of how focused the camera was and how clean the details are. I like how you can see the lines in the wood and see the actual texture. All of these different aspects make this photo very appealing to the eye.
