Fourth/Last Blog

For my final blog post, I have chosen this photo.  In all of my work in the beginning of the semester, I chose to photograph only things from nature such as grass, leaves, flowers, tress, etc., but as the semester continued, I grew slightly bored of developing what seems to be the pretty much the same thing.  That is when I started experimenting with objects, animals, and even people.  This is one of the first photo's I developed that was not something from nature and I love it so much.
This film was part of a not-so-good roll, so there are tiny scratches that appear all over the photo if you look closely.  Although that was an accident that some may have considered to "ruin" their film/prints, I think that adds so much to this photo.  Most of the photos I have taken give off an "older" kind of vibe due to the fact that they are all in black and white, but with the scratches added to that, this looks like one of the first photos taken ever of a Reese.  That's what makes this print so cool to me.
Also, I really enjoy the angle that the photo is taken at that casts a bold shadow underneath the candy bar.  Aside from that, I feel that the photo has just enough contrast.  I did not want the light gray parts of the photo to appear white, but I also did not want them to appear dark gray, so I am happy with the color in the middle of those that I achieved.
