I decided to use this photo mainly because of the way each piece of wood was stacked on top of one another and portrays the peeling of old paint and grains. These pieces of wood were old doors on top of each other which made a dark contrast and showed depth between each layer. When producing this photo I decided to dodge out the center allowing a main focal point that is much lighter than the surrounding background. Behind the top door are also gardening cages that extend out across the picture which give unique small white lines through a plain black setting. This photo in particular stood out to me through its old and warn down feel of re purposed doors that haven't been used in some time, the overall picture gives you a sense of balance as the light vanishes from front to back in a triangular form.
