Third Blog

This week I chose to use this photo because I really liked the way the old paint is chipping of this bridge and the way the bolt patterns appear. I took this photo before dusk so in some areas such as the water below the bridge are a bit darker. When producing this photo I had to burn both the bridge beam and wooden planks because of the way the sun was hitting it at the time. I also liked this picture because of the way the trees in the background look cloudy almost as if snow is on them. I mainly like the detail of the bridge beam as it disappears toward the opposite end, although its a black and white photo, in reality this bridge is bright red called (Red Bridge) which is a dog walking trail in my hometown. Therefore its neat to see this perspective of the photo even though it took a couple tries of burning the upper half of the picture itself.
